The day has finally arrived. Yesterday was Lauren's first day of school and Julien started today. They were so excited and a little nervous. I had a mix of emotions including nervousness, nausea, sadness and then joy as I drove off listening to Michael Jackson's Beat It with Maude rocking out in the back seat. We begin a new chapter in our lives today. Now what?

Welcome to your new chapter in life! I know its always hard to let our little ones go out into the world. But they have been blessed with great parents so they have had a great start. When I look at those first day of school pictures it makes my heart smile.

I am so excited that I came across your blog. I was checking out your parents blog and noticed that you have one also. I have enjoyed reading Tias, Annas, and Emilys. I know that it is hard to let them head off to school. I can't believe that Dawson is already in the second grade. I still have Casady for one more year though. I am trying to take advantage of this time that flys by so fast. Hope all is well. Tammy

Amazing how grown-up Lauren and Julien are now! Two in school, with only one at home? I would be singing along to "Beat It" too! :) I'm in the same boat and really have enjoyed my one-on-one time with Monet; something she has craved for some time now.... Great catching up with you Rachel and hope to talk soon!
I cant believe how big your kiddos are getting! Cant wait to see them in a few weeks!!!
